Hugh Watson is a professor of MIS and a holder of a C. Herman and Mary Virginia Terry Chair of Business Administration in the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. He is the author of 22 books and over 100 scholarly journal articles. He is recognized for his work on decision support systems, executive information systems, and most recently, business intelligence. He is a multiple winner of the Society for Information Management's Paper Competition.
Hugh has consulted with numerous organizations, including the World Bank, Intel, Teradata, IBM, Conoco and Glaxo, and conducted hundreds of executive development programs. He is a Fellow of the Association for Information Systems and The Data Warehousing Institute and senior editor of the Business Intelligence Journal. He is the consulting series editor for John Wiley & Sons' MIS firstname.lastname@example.org
